On April 24, 2026 at approximately 1011 hours I, Officer Smith was dispatched to 300 Oak Street in reference to a male using the bathroom outside.
Upon arrival I spoke with the male where I asked him why he was exposing himself and using the bathroom outside in public’s view. The male stated he had to use the bathroom and could not hold it.
I spoke with the complainant where she stated the male was inside their establishment, where he then walked outside and lowered his pants squatted next to a utility box and used the bathroom. She stated he exposed his buttocks.
Upon arrival I noticed a juvenile approximately 10-12 years old outside across the street. It is unclear if that juvenile was outside at the time of this incident.
I advised the male that he was being placed under arrest where he was then handcuffed behind the back which were checked for fit and double locked. The male was then transported to the Walker County Jail and turned over to detention staff with no issues.
The male was charged with Public Indecency.
