On 07/31/2026 around 1351 Hours, I Officer Couch responded to [100 BLOCK] Sorrells St in reference to a suspicious person call.
Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that Robert Towler did not live on location and did not have any belongings inside of his house and Towler had been drinking all day and walked into his house and refused to leave when he asked.
Towler was advised to leave, and when he refused, he was placed under arrest for DOC city ordinance. He was placed in handcuffs, checked for proper fitment and double locked. A search incident to arrest was conducted and no contraband was located on his person. Dispatch advised he did not have a warrant for his arrest. After running his information on my CAD. A FTA warrant was listed out of Monroe PD. Towler was secured in the back of my patrol vehicle.
A collected a hard copy and transported Towler to the WCSO jail without further incident. Towler was explained his citation and that he had a warrant. A signed copy of the warrant was placed in the box with his citation.
