On 01/19/2026, I, Sgt. Robert Butler was dispatched to Mighty Men in Davisboro in reference to a resident stripping off his clothing and dancing around in front of other residents. The complainant called back and reported that the resident was becoming more aggressive with he and his staff.
Upon arrival, I made contact with the complainant [WITNESS #1]. Mr. [WITNESS #1] had to physically restrain the resident/offender identified as Harrison Tye. Mr. Tye was handcuffed and placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated that Tye had stripped off his clothing, jumped on a pile of wooden pallets and exposed himself to several of the residents at Might Men Ministries. Mr. [WITNESS #1] also stated that he had the incident on video. Mr. [WITNESS #1] sent me the video.
During transport Mr. Tye began yelling and screaming about Jesus as I transported him to the Washington LEC. Once at the LEC Mr. Tye stated to me the reason that he stripped naked, he wanted to simulate Jesus on the cross.
At the LEC, Tye was turned over to jail personnel. I called Mr. Tye’s mother [REDACTED] who lives in South Carolina [REDACTED] to inform her of her son’s arrest.
