[NARRATIVE #1 on April 04, 2023]
On 4/13/2023 at 17:04 hours, I was dispatched to the Minit Stop gas station at 1875 Rayonier Road in reference to a male who had been attacked by another male at the store.
Upon my arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] reported he was assaulted by a male named “Jonathan” that he had given a ride to. [VICTIM #1] advised he gave the male a ride in his pickup truck to the Minit Stop gas station, stopped there, and advised the male if he wanted a ride he needed him to pay for some gasoline. [VICTIM #1] said the male turned to him, told him, “Fu*k You”, then grabbed the keys out of the truck’s ignition and threw them. [VICTIM #1] said the male then retrieved a bat that belonged to him([VICTIM #1]), beat him with it, then smashed his right rear tail light out with the bat. [VICTIM #1] told me the male left walking back towards Yellowpine Road. [VICTIM #1] further advised his hand was injured while fighting with the male.
I advised Mr. [VICTIM #1] a report would be made, explained how to obtain a copy of the report when it is completed, and further explained the process to obtain a warrant from the Magistrate Court.
Upon reviewing security camera footage of the incident the male was identified as Jonathan Michael Fail. Warrants will be secured for Jonathan Fail for Affray, Aggravated Assault, and Criminal Trespass.

[NARRATIVE #2 on May 12, 2023]
On May 12, 2023 at 0728 hours Deputies responded to [200 BLOCK] Kerry Davis Road in reference to an anonymous tip of Johnathan Fail being at the residence. Fail has active Wayne County warrants.
Upon arrival we were given consent to search inside the residence. Fail was located hiding under a mattress in the back bedroom and taken into custody without incident. Fail was placed in double-locked handcuffs checked for fit behind his person and searched incident to arrest. Deputy Bryant placed Fail in the back seat of his patrol vehicle and transported him to the jail.
At the jail Deputy Bryant served Fail his warrants and turned him over to jail staff for booking and processing.
