On 02/20/2025 I Deputy Joy was dispatched to [4100 BLOCK] Savannah Hwy lot [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic disturbance involving a gun.
Upon arrival I made contact with [VICTIM #1] the victim, who stated that her brother, Richard Boykins had came to the house and started to bang on the door demanding to be let in. Once Ms. [VICTIM #1] open the door to let her brother inside the residence Mr. Boykins started to get very aggressive towards [VICTIM #1] by yelling and asking about an unknown female that Richard believes [VICTIM #1] is friends with. Richard believes this unknown female is trying to hurt him. [VICTIM #1] did state that her brother Richard does have some mental health issues. During the argument at some point Richard had pulled out a handgun and pointed the gun at [VICTIM #1] and her 11 year old autistic son stating I’m going to kill you and your son. [VICTIM #1] was finally able to reach out to law enforcement and when [VICTIM #1] did Richard had left the scene according to [VICTIM #1] very fast.
During the questioning about what happened it was found that Richard did not damage anything in the house but did grab hold of the washing machine and started to rock it back and forth. Richard never discharged the firearm. [VICTIM #1] was able to give us the tag number of the vehicle Richard drove of in. GA Tag [REDACTED] which when ran came back to a 2017 Toyota Rav 4 to Richard.
Deputies then went to search the area for the vehicle and I explained to [VICTIM #1] if Richard comes back to give us a call. I gave [VICTIM #1] a case number for the report.
