[NARRATIVE #1 on July 01, 2026]

On July 1st, 2026, Deputy Muse and Warren were dispatched to [4300 BLOCK] E Nance Springs Rd in regards to a domestic dispute. The caller advised that Colby Thompson was on scene and in a domestic dispute with Natasha Ray. Dispatch advised deputies that Colby had a Felony Probation warrant through Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office and also a warrant through Murray County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrived on scene and heard arguing coming from behind the residence of [4300 BLOCK] E Nance Springs Rd. Deputies approached the residence with caution, upon approaching the residence deputies noticed Colby sitting on the ground propped up against a fridge on the corner of the residence. Deputies approached Colby and Natasha arguing. Deputies instructed Colby to drop a small scalpel that was in his hands. Colby tossed the knife in front of him in the grass.

Deputies instructed Colby to stand up, so the deputies could search him for any other weapons. Colby then fled from the deputies on foot. Deputies Muse and Warren then ran after Colby, giving him verbal commands to stop as they ran. Colby then jumped a fence leading the deputies to jump the fence as well. Deputies proceeded to instruct Colby to stop. Colby then gave up in a field and laid face down. Deputies drew tasers as they approached Colby. Colby was then secured into handcuffs without further incident.

Deputy Warren mirandized and questioned Colby about the incident that occurred before deputies arrived.

Colby stated that he and Natasha had been living together in the trailer for a couple of months and that they had been arguing frequently. Colby that a “scuffle” occurred in the kitchen, but no one touched each other or tried to harm each other.

Sgt. Sharpe arrived on scene. Deputy Muse and Sgt. Sharpe questioned Natasha regarding the incident that happened prior to the deputies’ arrival.

Natasha stated that Colby “grabbed” her and threw her around. Natasha stated that Colby had grabbed her by her arm and upper chest area, resulting in visible marks. Natasha further stated that Colby had threatened to harm himself with the scalpel he had possessed when deputies arrived.

Deputy Muse photographed the visible injuries on Natasha. Deputy Muse also photographed the location of were Colby and Natasha were when deputies arrived on scene. Deputy Muse then photographed the house for apparent damage to the property.

Deputy Muse observed multiple picture frames broken on the floor, along with a broken tv in the living room floor, and a broken vase in the kitchen floor. Natasha stated that Colby was throwing everything and all the items in the floor were broken from Colby. Deputy Muse did observed blood smeared all over the outside of the house and blood on the inside of the entrance door.

Deputy Muse collected the knife. Broken suspected smoking pipes in a bag were located outside the residence next to were Colby was sitting, and a pipe in the living room on an end table. These items were also seized.

EMS arrived on scene and provided first aid to Colby for some cuts on his hand. Colby stated he punched something and it cut him. Colby denied treatment from EMS personnel.

EMS then checked on Natasha. Natasha stated she was sore, scratched up and bruised, but she was okay.

Deputies discovered on arrival of [4300 BLOCK] E Nance Springs Rd that there appeared to be several dogs at this residence. The dogs had visible ribs and rear hip bone showing, from being malnourished.

Natasha claimed that all the dogs were hers and she fed them.

Deputies then photographed the dogs and instructed Natasha to feed the dogs before the deputies left.

Deputies arrested Colby Thompson and transported to WCSO, and was charged accordingly:

[NARRATIVE #2 on July 02, 2026]

On 07/02/2026 at approximately 1134 hours, Deputy Crane was dispatched to a call in reference to serving a warrant for a warrant filed on the previous date located at [4300 BLOCK] E Nance Springs Rd.

Upon arrival Deputy Crane observed several dogs that looked malnourished and were all recorded via bodycam to capture the extent of neglect of the animals. The Whitfield County Animal Shelter was notified and arrived at the location with the deputies.

Natasha was not located at the residence however her daughter came over to the property and informed deputies that she was working at the moment at Garland Sales. Deputy Gomez went to Garland Sales and took custody of Natasha after locating her at her workplace.

All 6 dogs were taken to the animal shelter after Natasha surrendered them to the shelter via a telephone call. Deputy James will follow up with the necessary paperwork for the transfer. Deputy Gomez transported her to the Whitfield County Jail. Later, Deputy Crane arrived at the Whitfield County Jail and served her with warrant #W26-1118.
