[NARRATIVE #1 on September 03, 2026]
On September 03, 2026, at 2340 hours, Deputy Bandy was dispatched to [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic in progress that was physical.
Deputy Bandy arrived on scene and began speaking with [WITNESS #1], who advised he witnessed the incident. [WITNESS #1] stated that he, his sister [VICTIM #1], his nephew [VICTIM #2], and his stepfather [VICTIM #3] had gone to the store and had returned to the residence. [WITNESS #1] stated that his mother, Kathy Saenz-Adame, was at the residence when they arrived and was upset because [VICTIM #1] was driving [VICTIM #3]’s truck and began throwing rocks at it. [WITNESS #1] stated that his mother, Kathy, was being belligerent and had opened the passenger door of the truck and physically grabbed [VICTIM #1] by the face and began dragging her out of the vehicle while hitting her with an open hand, as he described, slapping her in the face area.
[WITNESS #1] stated that [VICTIM #1] was defending herself by placing her hands in front of her face to block the strikes. [WITNESS #1] stated that the incident then moved to the front porch area of the residence and was no longer physical. [WITNESS #1] stated that Juvenile 1 began telling Kathy that she was cheating on his “Step Dad/Grandpa”. [WITNESS #1] stated that he then observed Kathy grab Juvenile 1 by the throat with one hand. [WITNESS #1] stated that when she grabbed Juvenile 1 by the throat, it was hard enough to move the juvenile backward. [WITNESS #1] stated that [VICTIM #1] then stepped in to get Juvenile 1 away from her, and she began hitting [VICTIM #1] again. [WITNESS #1] stated that he and [VICTIM #3] then got in between them and separated them. [WITNESS #1] stated that they advised that they were calling law enforcement, and Kathy fled the scene.
Deputy Bandy then spoke with [VICTIM #1] about the incident. [VICTIM #1] stated that her mother was not at the residence and [VICTIM #3] had come over. [VICTIM #1] stated that Kathy had been accusing her of wanting a romantic relationship with her stepdad, [VICTIM #3]. [VICTIM #1] stated that Kathy arrived at the residence and grabbed her by the arm and by the face. Deputy Bandy asked [VICTIM #1] where the incident took place, and she advised it started in the truck that she, [VICTIM #3], [WITNESS #1], and Juvenile 1 were inside. Deputy Bandy asked [VICTIM #1] how they got outside the truck, and she advised she was sitting in the truck in the drivers seat and tried to get out, and that’s when Kathy grabbed her by the face and pulled her out.
[VICTIM #1] stated everyone then moved towards the front porch of the residence. [VICTIM #1] stated that [VICTIM #3] was trying to get everyone into the house, and Kathy then grabbed Juvenile 1 by the throat with two hands. [VICTIM #1] stated that she then began pulling Juvenile 1 away from Kathy, and Kathy became physical with her again. [VICTIM #1] stated that Kathy also knocked over multiple flower vases. [VICTIM #1] stated to Deputy Bandy that he could speak with Juvenile 1. [VICTIM #1] also stated there may be video footage. Deputy Bandy did observe scratch marks on [VICTIM #1]’s left arm she advised occurred during the physical altercation, and photos were taken.
Deputy Bandy spoke with Juvenile 1, who stated: “I was choked out by my grandma.” Juvenile 1 stated that Kathy scratched his mom, and he put his arm out to protect his mom, [VICTIM #1]. Juvenile 1 stated that when he was trying to block Kathy from hurting [VICTIM #1], Kathy then grabbed him by the neck with one hand. Juvenile 1 stated that when Kathy grabbed him by the neck, she did squeeze. Deputy Bandy asked Juvenile 1 if he could breathe, and he advised that he had been breathing normally until she grabbed him by the neck.
Deputy Bandy asked Juvenile 1 if it obstructed him from breathing when she grabbed him by the throat, and he advised it did. Deputy Bandy asked Juvenile 1 if he was scared when this occurred, and he stated, “Yeah,” and stated, “I thought she was trying to kill me.” Deputy Bandy was advised by Juvenile 1 that he was epileptic.
Deputy Bandy then spoke with [VICTIM #3]. [VICTIM #3] stated that they went to the store, had arrived back, and were met by Kathy, who was yelling at everyone. [VICTIM #3] stated that he saw Kathy grab Juvenile 1 by the neck with one hand. Deputy Bandy was having a hard time getting information from [VICTIM #3] due to him being intoxicated.
Deputy Bandy asked [VICTIM #3] if he had video of the incident, and he advised he did. [VICTIM #3] showed Deputy Bandy a video of Kathy in the front yard yelling at everyone. Deputy Bandy then observed Kathy throw an object at [VICTIM #3], striking him as he stood next to his truck. Deputy Bandy asked [VICTIM #3] what Kathy had thrown at him, and he advised that it was a cell phone. [VICTIM #3] stated that he and Kathy were once married but are now divorced.
Deputy Bandy observed several other videos provided. In one video, Deputy Bandy observed the truck pull in, and Kathy aggressively move towards the driver’s door, beating on the window and trying to get the door open. In another video, Kathy had thrown something while at the porch, knocking a flower vase over.
Another video showed [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #3], and [WITNESS #1] walking towards the residence as if they were trying to avoid confrontation with Kathy. Deputy Bandy then observed Kathy push past Juvenile 1, making physical contact, and toward the three. Deputy Bandy observed Kathy try to enter the residence, then get in the face of [VICTIM #1], and Juvenile 1 trying to get her away from [VICTIM #1].
Deputy Bandy observed that no videos of Juvenile 1 being choked and the physical altercation between [VICTIM #1] and Kathy were on there. Deputy Bandy also observed that the cameras did not appear to be filming at all times and were motion-activated, recording only a few seconds per clip. Seven videos were saved and will be uploaded to evidence.com.
Deputy Bandy gathered on scene from all the subjects that Kathy does not currently live there but does have belongings there. They stated that Kathy is living in an apartment somewhere with her new boyfriend. Based on the testimonial and physical evidence gathered on the scene, Deputy Bandy believed there was enough probable cause for an arrest.
Deputy Bandy will be applying for an arrest warrant on [KATHY] for the following charges:
-O.C.G. A 16-5-21 Aggravated Assault Strangulation
-O.C.G. A 16-5-23.1 Battery (FVA)
-O.C.G. A 16-5-23 Simple Battery (FVA)-

[NARRATIVE #2 on September 04, 2026]
On September 4, 2026 Deputy Bandy was granted warrant number W26-1540 for Kathy Saenz-Adame by Judge Phillips for the following charges: Aggravated Assault, Cruelty to Child in 3rd degree, Battery (FVA), and Simple Battery (FVA).
At 2037 hours, Deputy Scott, Deputy Kell, Deputy Walker, and Deputy Bandy arrived at a residence located at [REDACTED], to attempt to serve an active arrest warrant on Kathy Saenz-Adame after learning that her alleged boyfriend, [REDACTED], had used this address in RMS. Sgt. Southern also informed Deputy Bandy that Kathy had a history of using this address in Clear as well.
As Deputy Bandy pulled into the driveway, he immediately noticed that Kathy’s vehicle was in the driveway. Deputy Bandy was aware the vehicle was registered to Kathy. The vehicle was a white 2019 Chevrolet Equinox with Georgia tag number [REDACTED] and vehicle identification number [REDACTED]. Deputy Bandy was also aware this was the same vehicle Kathy fled the scene in the night prior.
Deputy Kell and Deputy Bandy attempted to make contact at the front door of the residence while other deputies surrounded it. While knocking on the door, Deputy Bandy observed someone move the curtains on the front windows of the residence to look outside and quickly move them back. Deputy Kell advised Deputy Bandy that he also saw someone move the curtains covering the glass on the door and do the same thing. Deputy Bandy and Deputy Kell announced themselves as law enforcement several times and advised they had an arrest warrant for Kathy.
Based on having an active arrest warrant on Kathy, Kathy’s vehicle that is registered to her and she was driving the night before when the incident occurred being on scene, using a software that has Kathy listed here due to credit reports and other sources, Deputy Bandy and Deputy Kell observing someone move the curtins and look out before retreating, and the male Deputy Bandy was advised Kathy was dating [REDACTED] using the same address in RMS, Deputy Bandy decided to apply for a search warrant for the residence due to deputies reasonably believing Kathy was inside. Deputy Bandy was issued a search warrant by Judge Phillips, docket number 2026-271SW.
Sgt. Southern, Deputy Bethune, and Deputy Nunez arrived on the scene to assist. Deputy Bandy then began making loud and understandable announcements at the front door, advising that a search warrant had been obtained. Deputy Bandy then heard movement inside the residence and footsteps approaching the door.
Deputy Bandy then observed Kathy open the front door of the residence. Kathy was then placed at Taser and gunpoint and taken into custody by Deputy Bandy by being placed into handcuffs, which were checked for fit and double-locked. Kathy then gave deputies voluntary consent to search the residence for anyone else inside. The search warrant was not executed because Kathy exited the residence on her own and then gave deputies permission to enter and search the rest of the residence.
Deputy Bandy then read Kathy her Miranda warning, and she advised that she understood her rights and wished to speak with Deputy Bandy about the domestic incident the night prior. Kathy stated that she arrived at the residence and was upset due to [VICTIM #1] driving the truck while intoxicated, and she was concerned for Juvenile 1’s safety. Kathy stated she did go towards the truck yelling and screaming when they arrived back.
Kathy admitted she had grabbed [VICTIM #1] by the left arm, but she did not drag her out of the vehicle. Kathy stated she grabbed her because she was intoxicated. Kathy stated that she did not want her daughter, [VICTIM #1], at the residence because it was her home and that they had provoked her. Kathy stated that [VICTIM #3] began saying things, calling her a word, and trying to get everyone to go inside the house.
Kathy stated that Juvenile 1 kept coming up to her face, and she advised him to back up. Kathy stated that she pushed Juvenile 1 back and that’s when he grabbed her neck. Kathy continued to say she was unsure what had led up to certain things. Deputy Bandy asked Kathy if she had gone towards Juvenile 1 when this occurred, and she advised she did.
Deputy Bandy asked her whether, when Juvenile 1 contacted her, it may have been a self-defense reaction, and she advised it could have been. Deputy Bandy asked Kathy about when she threw the phone and hit [VICTIM #3]. Kathy stated that she was trying to throw it past the truck’s rear and that [VICTIM #3] was not there. Deputy Bandy asked Kathy why she would not open the door, and she advised she did not know it was law enforcement.
Deputy Bandy transported Kathy to the Whitfield County Jail and turned her over to Booking Staff without incident. Deputy Bandy served Kathy with warrant number W26-1540 for the following charges: Aggravated Assault, Cruelty to Child in the 3rd degree, Battery (FVA), and Simple Battery (FVA).
