On August 6th, 2026, at approximately 1152 hours, Deputy Sharp and Sgt Buchanan were dispatched to the area of Cleveland Hwy and the Bypass, in reference to a male who flashed his buttocks at [VICTIM #1]. Deputy Sharp spoke with [VICTIM #1] before arrival, who provided the following information.
He advised the male, later identified as Timothy Matthews, was in the area of Cleveland Hwy and Waring Rd walking southbound. He advised the male proceeded to “moon” everyone and then threw his drink at [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated he wasn’t worried about the male throwing the drink; he was just not okay with him showing his buttocks to everyone.
Deputy Sharp and Buchanan arrived at the Walgreens at the intersection. Sgt Buchanan located the male sitting outside the Walgreens entrance. Upon speaking with Timothy, Deputies observed him to have slurred speech and glossy eyes. He advised that he was itching his arm due to the bible putting a Satan seed in his arm. He also advised that he had been drinking before speaking with the Deputies.
Deputy Sharp placed Timothy into custody and transported him to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, Deputy Sharp applied for and was granted W#26-1343 for O.C.G.A. 16-11-41, Public Drunkenness, and O.C.G.A. 16-6-8(b), Public Indecency. He was then served with his warrant and turned over to the booking staff without incident.
